If I ever have a headline for the cover of Vogue, that's what I think it would say. Over the years, I have attempted to conform to the many distinct communities I've found myself placed within, but by the grace of God I've been unable to do so.
So who is this me?
I like HOT PINK. I speak quickly and think even faster. I'm not everyone's cup of tea but I'm definitely my favorite brand. And really that's all I'm committed to being...the best me possible.
As my mini about me section to the right suggests, I have a couple of snazzy degrees...and I'll leave it at that. Not because I'm not proud but because they don't make me who I am... I do.
I'm a beast at salsa.
More importantly, I'm a US citizen that has the privilege of being groomed from the roots of two of the world's most fascinating countries Trinidad & Tobago and Panama.
I love Celia Cruz, Kes & the Band, Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z.
Like everyone else in the world I'm just trying to be me. Only difference is I lucked out and was actually born ME.
Like I said before, if there's anything I can say about myself its that I have a lot to say and I'm glad I was born in an era where the internet has outdone nepotism and has guaranteed me a platform to share my views on any and all topics relevant to me with all those wise enough to pay attention.
